What's new in Luau lang?
Overall, this is a small update, there's nothing interesting about it. From PR, however, it was announced that the Integer library would be removed from the language. She will live until 0.747-746 +- , and then it will be cut out. This is due to the fact that the developer did not accept the chosen model and decided to abandon it.
The original text from the update:
- Fixed a bug in DSE(Dead Store Elimination) caused by tags not becoming invalid when overwriting the corresponding download.
- Fixed Arm64 crash caused by functions with more than 256 constants exceeding the immediate size of arm64.
- Intel Mac libunwind support (we're just assuming you're using libc++)
- INVOKE_FASTPCALL function must be registered as capable of invalidating SafeEnv
- Fix the error discovered by our programmer due to slot allocation.
- Several correctness fixes in Luau integer and bit32 operations - this affects bit32.lrotate, integer.lrotate, integer.extract/replace.
- Fixed an error caused by the automatic conversion of uint8_t to int8_t in the compiler.
- Fixed an error in reserving FORGLOOP registers.
