Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data EverGet (everget.net) processes, why, and how it is protected.

1. Controller

2. What data we process

• When you sign up: username, email address, password (stored only as an irreversible hash).
• In your profile — optional: first and last name, country and city, website, tagline, “About me” text, avatar.
• What you publish: posts, files, comments, ratings, reputation, gifts and collections.
• Requests: name, email and message text from the contact form and reports, including copyright notices.
• Technical data: IP address and browser details — to prevent abuse; to count guests “online now” we store only a hash of the IP address and browser, not the address itself. Date of your last visit.
• Cookies — see section 9.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• providing your account and the site’s features (contract — the site rules);
• service emails: email confirmation, password reset, replies to your requests (contract, legitimate interest);
• handling reports and copyright notices (legal obligation, legitimate interest);
• security and protection against spam and abuse (legitimate interest);
• optional analytics cookies — only with your consent.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. It is processed only by service providers the site cannot work without — the hosting provider (server location: [country]) and the email delivery service — and disclosed when required by law. Your public profile, posts and comments are visible to everyone by design.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists and deleted within 30 days after the account is deleted, unless the law requires otherwise. Form requests are kept for up to 3 years, technical logs for up to 6 months.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — write to [contact email]. We reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

7. International transfers

The server may be located outside your country. We transfer data only as needed to provide the site and protect it with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restricted access.

8. Children

The site is not intended for children under 14. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

These are strictly necessary and functional cookies. Analytics or advertising cookies are set only if you click “Accept all” in the cookie notice. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
