Shortly about new Luau update - 0.743
This is a standard language update. There are not as many changes as we would like.
In this update, the development team has changed:
table.find(t)is now more optimized for small-size array tables, which does not have a redefinition of the__eq(equality) meta-method.- Updated the Analysis part of the language, that is, Type Solver. Now he is more expressive if he finds some types of errors.
- Updated the reuse of local variables and constants. In general, the number of variables in the environment is 200 units, which is an intentional limitation of the standard runtime. The update itself affected the redefinition mechanism - now variables that are in an inaccessible place can be recreated.
- We have slightly improved the overall operation of the Type Solver part.
You can read more about the changes on the Luau github in `Releases'.
