1984 Oldsmobile 98 - Classic American Luxury Car for Project Zomboid

1984 Oldsmobile 98 adds a full-size American luxury car to Project Zomboid in two body variants: sedan and coupe. As part of the GM C-body collection, it features the distinctive styling of 1980s American automobiles, smooth handling and extensive customization options.

The vehicle also supports interchangeable parts from other GM C-body cars, along with armor and tire compatibility from the B-body collection.

Two Vehicle Variants

The modification includes two versions:

• Oldsmobile 98 Sedan - A classic full-size four-door luxury sedan.
• Oldsmobile 98 Coupe - A two-door version with the same distinctive 1980s styling.

Both variants feature four seats and support additional protective equipment.

Armor and Customization

Players can craft or discover various components to customize their vehicles.

Available equipment includes:

• Two tiers of armor protection.
• Wooden and metal armor sets.
• Protective panels for windows, doors, the engine and headlights.
• Additional bumpers and bullbars.
• Roof racks and vinyl roof covers.
• Multiple tire options.
• Various body textures and exterior accessories.

The Oldsmobile 98 supports both types of GM B-body armor and most B-body tires, allowing players to share equipment between compatible vehicles.

It also includes components shared with other C-body cars and several parts unique to this model.

Animations and Vehicle Features

The modification includes:

• Fully animated hood, trunk, doors and windows.
• Visible interior and player character.
• Improved entering, exiting and aiming animations.
• Removable 3D parts that can be placed in the game world.
• Ability to tow other vehicles and be towed.
• Support for existing saves.

Multiple texture variations are available, but custom recoloring is not supported.

Game Compatibility

The mod can be enabled in an existing save through the game's load menu.
