Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi - Japanese Cuisine for RimWorld
Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi expands your colony’s menu with rice-and-fish dishes, new condiments and another reason to develop a fishing industry. This module builds on Vanilla Cooking Expanded with straightforward recipes that fit the base game’s meal categories.
Rice, fish and a little wasabi
Sushi comes in different meal tiers, with recipes that let you adjust how you use your supplies. Choose rice-heavy dishes when fish is scarce, or fish-heavy alternatives when your catches outpace the harvest.
The module adds:
- Sushi recipes using rice and fish from Vanilla Fishing Expanded.
- Different ingredient ratios, allowing meals to use more rice or more fish.
- Deep-fried sushi for colonies that prefer their meals crispy.
- Wasabi paste and soy sauce, expanding the condiment selection.
Requirements and saves
Vanilla Cooking Expanded is required. The module uses systems from the main cooking mod and incorporates fish from Vanilla Fishing Expanded.
You can add Sushi to an existing colony. Removing it during an active playthrough is discouraged because its food and other content may still be referenced in the save.
This is a focused, feature-complete module dedicated to sushi and its accompanying condiments. Tofu is not included.
