1984 Cadillac DeVille - Classic American Luxury Car for Project Zomboid

1984 Cadillac DeVille adds a full-size American luxury car to Project Zomboid in two body variants: sedan and coupe. As part of the GM C-body collection, it features the distinctive styling of large 1980s Cadillacs, a comfortable ride and extensive customization options.

The DeVille is neither particularly fast nor agile, but its spacious body and smooth handling make it an alternative to smaller vehicles.

Two Vehicle Variants

The modification includes two versions:

• Cadillac DeVille Sedan - A classic four-door luxury sedan.
• Cadillac DeVille Coupe - A two-door version with traditional Cadillac styling.

Both variants offer four seats and support additional armor and exterior accessories.

Armor and Customization

Players can craft or find various components to customize and reinforce the vehicle.

Available equipment includes:

• Two tiers of armor protection.
• Wooden and metal armor sets.
• Protective panels for windows, doors, the engine and headlights.
• Additional bumpers and bullbars.
• Roof racks and vinyl roof covers.
• Multiple tire options.
• Various body textures and exterior accessories.

The Cadillac supports both types of GM B-body armor and most B-body tires, allowing players to reuse compatible equipment.

It also includes shared components from other C-body vehicles and several parts unique to the DeVille.

Animations and Vehicle Features

The modification includes:

• Fully animated hood, trunk, doors and windows.
• Visible interior and player character.
• Improved entering, exiting and aiming animations.
• Removable 3D parts that can be placed in the game world.
• Ability to tow other vehicles and be towed.
• Support for existing saves.

The vehicle comes with multiple texture variations, but custom recoloring is not supported.

Game Compatibility

The mod can be enabled in an existing save through the game's load menu.
