Vanilla Recycling Expanded gives wastepacks an industrial purpose. Instead of simply exporting or storing them, your colony can process them into useful resources.
Collect and process pollution
Improved pollution pumps help remove more contamination, while specialized recycling stations convert wastepacks into valuable materials.
Recycling is not a consequence-free disposal method: processing also produces a more volatile type of wastepack that requires further consideration.
Another option converts ordinary wastepacks into a form suitable for outdoor storage.
Research and workload
Complete Basic recycling and Complex recycling to access the relevant facilities.
Processing requires substantial work. The recovered resources therefore come with labor costs as well as waste-management trade-offs.
This mod recycles wastepacks only. It does not add recycling for apparel or weapons.
