Expand Item Arrange with support for more objects and furniture surfaces, including modded items. Fix clipping, alignment and stacked-furniture placement, choose experimental orientation modes and place objects side by side. Supports single-player and multiplayer.
Item Arrange Extension expands Slayer’s Item Arrange with additional objects, usable surfaces and placement fixes. It helps organize supplies across shelves, counters and other furniture, including multiple surfaces sharing one tile.
Requires Item Arrange.
Expanded item support
Items using a model already supported by Item Arrange inherit its placement behavior. This extends support to modded ammunition boxes, books, magazines, bottles, seed packets and parcels that reuse compatible models.
The extension also generates placement profiles from game and mod models, with manual adjustments afterward. Surface definitions are expanded in a similar way.
Coverage is extensive but not universal. Stacking support still needs to be enabled manually for individual items.
Placement fixes
The extension addresses several arrangement problems:
- Checks that items still exist before placing them, preventing ghost objects.
- Makes stacked furniture surfaces usable, including shelves above counters.
- Fixes items sinking into rugs or clipping into surfaces.
- Prevents mixed-size objects from being pushed off surfaces.
- Corrects alignment for different wall directions.
- Preserves the remaining items’ orientation when another object is picked up.
Controls and orientation
Hold Ctrl to place objects side by side instead of stacking, useful for buckets and bowls.
Hold Shift + Alt to skip items that cannot be arranged.
Under Options > Mods > Item Arrange Extension, experimental orientation settings let objects face toward or away from your position, or follow or oppose your viewing direction. The default behavior faces objects away from the nearest wall.
Compatibility and saves
Most items are supported from Authentic Z, Firearms, Fools New Containers, Gael Gun Store, Pomp’s Items, Sapph Cooking, Vanilla Firearms Extended and Vanilla Foods Expanded.
Supports single-player and multiplayer and can be safely added to or removed from an existing save.
