1982 Oshkosh M911

Planning to relocate your entire base? Need to transport mountains of supplies, collect fuel from across Knox County or move heavy equipment to a remote shelter? The Oshkosh M911 brings serious military hauling power to Project Zomboid.

Originally developed for the United States Armed Forces, this massive tractor served as a dependable heavy transporter for decades. One of its most demanding assignments was moving M1 Abrams tanks toward the battlefield.

It's enormous, intimidating and certainly not built for racing. But when the apocalypse calls for something capable of handling extraordinary loads, few machines look more suitable.

Standard and Armored Variants

The collection introduces two chassis configurations:

• Standard M911 - A classic military heavy hauler designed for transporting large trailers and equipment.
• Armored M911 - A reinforced configuration offering additional protection for dangerous journeys.

Burnt wrecks can also appear throughout the game world, alongside numerous military paint schemes and texture variations.

Both versions feature a two-person cabin and support interchangeable equipment.

Five Military Semi-Trailers

The main attraction is the selection of specialized trailers, allowing you to organize large-scale transportation operations.

Available models include:

• M126 Stake Semi-Trailer - An open cargo platform with stake sides for hauling equipment and supplies.
• M127 Van Semi-Trailer - An enclosed transport body suitable for moving stored resources.
• M128 Van Semi-Trailer - Another enclosed configuration for cargo transportation.
• M747 Lowbed Semi-Trailer - A low-loading platform designed for heavy equipment.
• M967 Fuel Tanker Semi-Trailer - A specialized tanker for transporting fuel.

Important: The M967 requires Tsar's Common Library to enable its fuel functionality.

Trailer Coupling and Compatibility

These semi-trailers use a dedicated connection system.

They cannot be towed by ordinary vehicles and are intended specifically for the M911. However, the military tractor can also pull regular trailers.

To attach a compatible semi-trailer:

1. Carefully position the tractor underneath the front of the trailer.
2. Exit the cabin.
3. Press V to open the vehicle radial menu.
4. Select the + attachment option.

The connection method differs from other semi-truck modifications, so their trailers are not interchangeable with this system.

Armor and Survival Equipment

The M911 can be upgraded with protective components that make traveling through infected territory less dangerous.

Available equipment includes:

• Reinforced bullbars and front protection
• Armor plates for windows and doors
• Additional shielding for the engine and headlights
• Craftable and discoverable accessories
• Multiple exterior texture variations

The truck also features run-flat tires and a Central Tire Inflation (CTI) system, helping maintain mobility when ordinary wheels might leave you stranded.
