Furniture Push & Pull - Realistic Furniture Movement
Furniture Push & Pull adds a convenient way to move furniture in Project Zomboid Build 42 without dismantling it or placing it in your inventory.
Push or pull objects one tile at a time, using your character's Strength to move heavy furniture.
Main Features
- Push and Pull - Move furniture one tile forward or backward.
- Multi-Tile Furniture - Supports large tables, desks, cabinets and other movable objects.
- Strength System - Stronger characters move furniture faster and consume less stamina.
- Furniture Weight - Heavier objects require more time and energy.
- Filled Containers - Move cabinets and storage furniture without emptying them.
- Collision Detection - Walls, closed doors and obstacles prevent invalid movement.
- Ground Loot Warnings - Displays a warning when loose items occupy the destination.
- Sound Effects - Moving furniture creates noise that can attract zombies.
- Vanilla Animations - Uses animations consistent with the original game.
- Controller and Multiplayer Support - Fully supported and tested.
How to Move Furniture
- Stand directly next to a supported furniture object.
- Right-click it or open the world context menu with a controller.
- Select Push to move the object away from your character.
- Select Pull to move it toward your character.
When pulling furniture, your survivor automatically steps backward.
The entire destination area must be available. Large objects can pass through open doorways if they fit.
Strength and Stamina
Movement difficulty depends on your character's Strength and the object's weight.
- Higher Strength reduces movement time and stamina consumption.
- Heavy furniture takes longer to move.
- Multi-tile objects require more effort than smaller furniture.
- Every movement consumes stamina.
Containers and Ground Items
Storage furniture can be moved with its contents intact, including in multiplayer.
Loose items on the destination tile do not block movement. A red warning appears, and the items remain on the ground, although they may visually overlap the furniture.
