Vanilla Social Interactions Expanded gives colonists a richer social life through changes to their free-time behaviour, relationships and personal goals. It makes the people living in your colony a larger part of the story.

More life between work shifts

The mod changes how pawns spend their spare time and interact with one another, giving relationships and the Social tab greater importance.

Colonists also gain aspirations. Fulfilling these personal goals rewards them with strong mood bonuses, giving you another reason to pay attention to individual wants.

The inspiration system is reworked too, expanding the changes beyond ordinary conversations.

Choose the mechanics you want

Individual mechanics can be disabled in the mod settings. You can keep the features that suit your colony and turn off those that do not fit your preferred playstyle.

Requirements and compatibility

Requires Vanilla Expanded Framework.

Psychology and other mods that alter pawn traits are expected to work alongside it. However, mods that change vanilla inspirations may conflict with its inspiration overhaul.

Combat Extended compatibility is not firmly confirmed in the supplied description.

Existing saves

The mod can be added to an ongoing colony. Back up your save before installation.

Removing it during a playthrough is discouraged because it may damage the save.
