Tired of bloodstained roads, piles of corpses and garbage surrounding your survivor base? 1993 Ford Elgin Street Sweeper introduces a functional street-cleaning vehicle to Project Zomboid.

Instead of removing every corpse or piece of debris manually, you can drive through your neighborhood and clean it using a specialized machine.

How the Street Sweeper Works

Operating the vehicle is straightforward:

1. Find a Ford Elgin street sweeper.
2. Activate any lightbar mode to start the cleaning system.
3. Drive over the area you want to clean.
4. Reduce your speed for more effective sweeping.
5. Manage the collected waste through the vehicle's trunk storage.

The slower you drive, the better the cleaning performance.

Cleaning Features

The sweeper can handle several types of debris:

• Bloodstains and grime
• Zombie corpses
• Ashes
• Dropped items
• Garbage and broken glass
• Selected environmental objects, including broken pylons and mailboxes

Sandbox settings allow you to choose exactly which categories the vehicle can collect or remove. Environmental tile cleaning uses a whitelist.

Waste Management

Collected items can be removed manually from the trunk storage.

Automatic deletion is also available, with different permissions depending on the game mode:

• Single Player: Automatic deletion is available.
• Multiplayer: Automatic deletion is restricted to staff members.

Be careful when enabling automatic disposal, especially if the sweeper is configured to collect dropped items.

Compatibility

The mod can be added to existing saves. Vehicle recoloring is not supported.
