Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect - More Building Options for RimWorld

Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect expands colony construction with walls, fences, floors, carpets and bridges. Its selection follows RimWorld’s visual style, offering distinct designs and a restrained palette for more varied settlements.

Construction and decoration

• Walls and doors: additional designs, including armored options and cell walls.
• Fences and hedges: more ways to divide outdoor spaces.
• Floors and carpets: new patterns and colors suited to vanilla interiors.
• Stone and metal bridges: alternatives to wooden crossings.
• Foundations for sand: prepare sandy ground for construction.

Wooden objects can be built in four colors using ordinary wood. These are construction choices, not additional resources to gather or store.

New structures are unlocked through projects in the standard research tab.

Requirements and Royalty content

Requires Vanilla Expanded Framework.

Royalty is optional. Royal carpets, fine metal tiles, fine wooden floors and fine walls are available only when that DLC is enabled.

Existing saves and limitations

The mod can be added to an ongoing colony. Do not remove it while your save contains its floors or other terrain types, as their missing definitions can break the save.

Stone and metal bridges retain the game’s restrictions on which floors can be placed over them.

The supplied description gives conflicting load-order advice for structures disappearing after construction. If this occurs, check the mod’s troubleshooting information before changing its position.
