Vanilla Traits Expanded - More Personality for RimWorld Colonists
Vanilla Traits Expanded adds 55 new traits that make colonists more varied in their abilities, habits and behaviour. Some introduce new mechanics, others change statistics or create unusual situations that help shape your colony’s story.
New strengths, flaws and surprises
The expanded trait pool gives you more to consider when recruiting a survivor or creating a starting group. A useful skill set may come with troublesome habits, while an unusual personality can open up a different way to play.
Positive traits outnumber exclusively negative ones by more than two to one. Trait frequencies are adjusted so powerful bonuses and disruptive drawbacks appear less often.
Choose which traits can appear
The settings include controls for disabling individual traits from:
- Vanilla RimWorld
- Vanilla Traits Expanded
- Other installed trait mods
Disabling a trait sets its appearance frequency to zero. It does not remove the trait from colonists who already have it. Changing an existing pawn requires a separate tool such as Character Editor.
Compatibility and setup
The mod can be added to an existing save and supports other trait mods, Prepare Carefully and Combat Extended.
Place Vanilla Traits Expanded above other trait mods in the load order.
