Vanilla Races Expanded - Custom Icons adds hundreds of icons for custom xenotypes, helping you give each race a distinctive visual identity.

The collection includes variations of RimWorld’s original xenotype symbols alongside new designs inspired by alien species.

Choose an icon for your xenotype

Select the new icons directly in the xenotype creator when designing a custom race.

Icons do not appear randomly or automatically replace existing symbols. You choose which design represents your xenotype.

This module expands visual customisation without adding new races, genes or abilities.

Requirements and compatibility

Requires the Biotech DLC. Without it, the mod has no effect.

Compatible with Combat Extended and safe to add to an existing save.
