Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded - Paste Storage, Pipelines and Automatic Feeding for RimWorld
Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded turns nutrient paste production into a connected system. Prepare food in advance, store it in large vats and distribute it through pipes to serving points, beds and nutrient-consuming buildings.
The production chain unlocks through Nutrient Paste research and supplements the existing dispenser.
Build a central food supply
- Paste grinders process ingredients into nutrient paste.
- Storage vats hold paste for later use.
- Pipes and output valves distribute meals to colonists and prisoners.
- Nutrient paste drippers automatically feed bed-bound colonists or prisoners.
The network can also supply structures that require nutrition, including growth vats when available.
Protect your stored food
If storage vats lose power, their contents begin to spoil rapidly. Keeping them in a refrigerated room provides protection during an outage.
Ingredients affect the entire connected supply. Adding meat or human meat means meals drawn from that supply inherit the corresponding ingredient status, which matters for dietary restrictions.
A system-clearing button lets you remove contamination by discarding all stored meals.
Requirements and compatibility
Uses the pipe-network system in Vanilla Expanded Framework.
Compatible with Combat Extended and can be added to an existing save.
