Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Icons and Symbols adds over 200 new icons for RimWorld ideologies, giving belief systems a more distinctive visual identity.

Symbols that match the ideology

Icons are organised into visual categories and use tags to guide their selection for generated ideologies. This helps symbols reflect the beliefs they represent, reducing combinations that feel thematically out of place.

The collection includes designs inspired by Stellaris and other games and films.

Requirements and compatibility

Requires the Ideology DLC. Place the mod after Ideology in the load order.

It works alongside other mods that add ideology icons.

The mod can be added to an existing save, but existing ideologies do not automatically receive new symbols. Its main benefit appears when creating ideologies for a new game.

There are no individual icon toggles in the described release. Removing a specific symbol requires editing the mod’s XML definitions.
