Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Dryads - New Dryad Types and Awakened Forms for RimWorld

Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Dryads expands the Gauranlen system with new dryad types and upgrades to existing ones. It gives dryads a broader range of roles, making them a more substantial part of colony life.

Awaken your dryads

Select three dryads of the same type to create an awakening cocoon and access their awakened form.

Awakened dryads become unshackled from the Gauranlen tree:

• They no longer count towards the tree’s dryad limit.
• They cannot be bound to a tree again.
• Their independence is temporary: they eventually die from separation sickness.

Awakening therefore offers a powerful but limited-lived addition to your colony.

Optional Anima appearance

With Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Anima Theme installed, the new dryads receive matching anima-themed artwork.

The module can also work alongside other mods that add or change dryads. However, third-party dryads need support from their authors to receive awakened versions.

Requirements and saves

Requires the Ideology DLC. Load the mod after Ideology.

It can be added to an existing save. Removing it during a playthrough can be more complicated, so back up your colony before making changes.
