Viewpoint Immersive Effects — See the World Through Your Survivor’s Eyes
Viewpoint Immersive Effects makes Viewpoint’s first-person view reflect your character’s condition and equipment. Injuries, moodles, traits, and headgear introduce visual changes that make the camera feel more connected to the survivor you are playing.
Condition affects perception
The add-on includes:
- double vision from drunkenness;
- frost gradually building across the view;
- heavy eyelids;
- visual reactions to taking hits;
- short-sightedness that can be corrected with glasses;
- distinct views for supported masks and goggles.
Effect intensity and individual groups can be adjusted under Options → Mods, letting you choose which changes to keep.
Requirements and setup
Designed for Project Zomboid Build 42.21. Requires:
Install and configure ZombieBuddy’s Java agent according to its instructions—enabling it in the mod list alone does not complete the setup.
Enable the required mods and Immersive Effects, then approve the add-on’s Java component when ZombieBuddy prompts you. Press O in-game to enter Viewpoint’s first-person mode.
This is a client-side visual add-on. It does not bundle Project Viewpoint’s code or files.
